Developed in joint venture with Thiess Contractors, Cullen Bay is now well established as Darwin's premier residential address.
The 58.4 hectare estate was created by the reclamation of former tidal mud flats.The residential sub-division and 150-pen marina is protected and contained by a seawall with a double gate and hydraulically operated lock system.
The complex now provides some of Darwin's best waterfront housing, including apartments and holiday accommodation where residents enjoy direct access to vibrant commercial facilities and boardwalk restaurants. The project also created a new public beach and ferry terminal. Land development alone cost approximately $44 million and Wyllie Group not only participated as a 50% joint venture development partner, but also as the project financier.
